Auditions will begin at 7:00pm at the American Theater, located at 446 King Street, Charleston, SC, 29403. The Magic Jukebox will open on Friday, September 17, 2010, with 11 performances through October 3, 2010.

Tail Wagger Productions is seeking a large, diverse company of performers for the show. Actors, singers and dancers of all ethnicities and backgrounds are encouraged to audition. Singers who wish to audition should prepare a short vocal piece. An accompanist will be provided. Dancers should also prepare a short solo piece and provide their own accompaniment, if needed.

The jukebox at the Café doesn’t just play songs; like magic, it makes them come alive with singing and dancing. The café owner and the maitre d’ help the audience choose  songs from each area of the menu, from pop to country, rock to broadway, oldies to big band and everything in between. However, when a glitch in the magic jukebox makes the show go awry, improvisation and hilarity ensue. Will the glitch be fixed in time for the big finale? Come see The Magic Jukebox to find out!
